I admit i was a little skeptical at first about Second Life. I wasnt quite sure how a virtutal reality could be beneficial to myself or society, but after i thought about it a bit it really started to make sense. Second Life and other virtural reality technologies can be quite a powerfull tool if used correctly in the workplace. Second life has much power to bennefit companies training empleyees. These companies could set up a virtural workplace to train employees. This way new employees get real experience instead of just being thrown into the job and learning from trial and error.
